The hands and face are printed individually from original artwork, using archival quality inks that are light safe for 70 years. The clock is powered by a high torque quartz motor running on a C cell battery, engineered to Clever Clocks' specifications. Every clock case is hand made from wood, cut and joined by hand, then lacquered to a matte finish. The clock can hang on a wall or stand upright on a shelf or mantelpiece
